At 53 West, we make simple, useful objects for your home. Thoughtfully designed, made by hand and built to order in our Essex workshop.

It started with making things for our own home and family. Now, we're making them for yours too.

Sophie (7) and Jack (3) run the business. Rob (a little older) does most of the making.

We like colourful designs, simple materials and things that look good while doing their job.
